Can I see a sample of the documents you offer? Photos of existing build-outs?
Yes. We want you to know whether your purchase will be the right fit for you! To obtain a sample of puzzles, storylines, parts lists, game flow charts, or build-out photos, contact support@escapeempire.com.
How do I decide which room I should buy? Which room is best suited to my business needs?
Below is a comparison chart listing the specs. of each currently available room. Escape Empire will provide short samples of our documents and parts lists if you are looking for a more thorough understanding of the types of puzzles we offer before deciding on a purchase.
What if I have an issue with the design I receive?
Escape Empire understands that the majority of its customers are startups and that owners are anxious to ensure the quality of the product before making a significant investment in purchasing a design. We have never received a refund request or had a customer report a less than satisfactory experience with their purchase. However, if any aspect of your design does not suit your needs, we will work actively with you to modify or substitute your puzzles until you are satisfied. We are in this business for the love of puzzles and are always happy to discuss ways in which games can be improved!
I am interested in one of your designs but have specific needs with regards to [room dimensions/technology/etc].
Escape Empire will provide reasonable modifications to our designs free of charge. We will happily alter/substitute up to 2 puzzles or adjust room layout at your request.
If you are looking for a redesign of significant scope (turning a single-room game into a multi-room, turning a Gen 1 room into a Gen 4, etc), this is considered a custom design and will be priced out accordingly.
What am I getting with my purchase? What is the advantage of paying a designer over simply creating a room myself?

These packages will include a detailed walkthrough of puzzles, storyline, parts list, suggested hints, training documents for your staff, floor plans, design schematics as needed, and tips and tricks to operate your games smoothly.
A purchase also comes with consultation services from our experienced staff. We are dedicated to offering you the smoothest build-out experience possible, and will be available via phone, video chat, and email throughout your process.
What if the traditional 1-hour, enclosed game format does not suit my business needs or venue?
Escape Empire regularly receives commissions for unconventional game designs. From mobile games that tour the corporate Christmas party circuit, to large scale (100+ player) games for weddings and charity events, we love taking on the challenge of designing a new type of escape adventure!
